Lair of the Werewolves

Navigate the Lair of the Werewolves in Dragon Age: Origins. Get the Wolf-Killer bow and Varathorn's Armor, and complete 'Lost to the Curse'.

Alright, so you've made it to the Lair of the Werewolves in Dragon Age: Origins. This area pops up depending on who you sided with in the "Nature of the Beast" quest. If you went with the elves, you'll be dealing with the Poacher path, and if you sided with the werewolves, it's the Slayer path. Either way, there are some good rewards and quest completions waiting for you here.

First things first, after making your choice, you should be able to open a chest behind Lanaya. Inside, you'll find a song book for Codex 217: In Uthenera. Don't miss that!

Now, if you spoke with Varathorn, you'll want to convince him to craft you the Wolf-Killer bow. While you're at it, make sure he also crafts Varathorn’s Armor - Rare Ironbark. That's some solid gear you'll want to equip.

Next up, find Athras. You'll need to give him his wife’s scarf to wrap up the “Lost to the Curse” quest. As a reward for your troubles, you'll receive Athras’s Pendant. It’s a nice little bonus.

Before you head out, make sure you grab enough Toxin Extract. You'll need this for the “Negotiation Aids” quest. Once you've got everything, it's time to make your way to the Frostback Mountains.
