Learn how to complete Wynne's personal quest 'Wynne's Regret' in Dragon Age: Origins, including finding Aneirin and obtaining Aneirin's Token.

Wynne is a companion in Dragon Age: Origins who can turn against you under specific circumstances. To keep her loyalty, avoid destroying the ashes during the Urn of Sacred Ashes quest, don't kill all the mages in the tower, and steer clear of becoming a Blood Mage. If you do any of these, she'll leave the party or confront you.

To start Wynne's personal quest, speak with her at camp. She'll mention needing rest. Leave camp and return later to ask about her well-being. You'll then trigger a random encounter with a Darkspawn Leader. After the fight, Wynne will collapse and want to explain things at camp. Once back at camp, she'll confront you about a problem, leading to another random encounter where everyone gets injured. Wynne will use Vessel of the Spirit to heal the party.

After defeating the Hurlock Omega and other Darkspawn, speak with Wynne at camp again. Ask her about the Circle, and she'll mention an apprentice named Aneirin. This initiates the quest “Wynne’s Regret”. You'll need to travel to the Brecilian Forest with Wynne in your party. Find Aneirin in the East Brecilian Forest, just north of the Mad Hermit Clearing. After a conversation, you'll receive Aneirin's Token, an amulet that boosts Wynne’s Vessel of the Spirit ability, and the quest will conclude.

Wynne gains a special ability through this personal quest. She generally makes admirable choices, so maintaining her approval while playing an evil character can be challenging.
