    First, you must battle either Trainer Sordward (in Pokémon Sword) or Trainer Shielbert (in Pokémon Shield). Shielbert's team consists of a Level 64 Sirfetch’d (Fighting), Level 64 Bronzong (Steel/Psychic), Level 64 Falinks (Fighting), and Level 64 Klinklang (Steel). Unlike the battle against Rose, you cannot Dynamax or Gigantamax in these fights.

    After defeating the trainer, take the elevator to the tower summit to confront the berserk Legendary Pokémon.

  • For Sordward's Sirfetch’d, Golisopod, Doublade, and Bisharp, use Flying or Fairy-types for Sirfetch’d, Flying or Electric for Golisopod, Fire, Ground or Dark for Doublade, and Fighting, Fire or Ground for Bisharp.
  • For Shielbert's Sirfetch’d and Falinks, use Flying or Fairy-types. For Bronzong, use Fire, Ghost or Dark-types. For Klinklang, use Fire, Ground or Fighting-types.
