Follow our guide to navigate the Stony Wilderness, Giant's Mirror, and Hammerlocke Hills in Pokemon Sword and Shield. Find your way to Hammerlocke city with clear directions.

Alright, you've just left Bridge Field and Hammerlocke is straight ahead! Before you get there, you'll need to traverse a few areas. The main path forward is through the Giant's Mirror, but you can also go up the Giant's Cap. We'll take the Giant's Mirror route.

From where you are, head north a bit until you hit some rough ground. Keep an eye out for a Level 60 Dusknoir hanging around here – don't mess with it if you don't have to!

Once you reach the rough ground, turn east towards the distant wall. Keep going past two rocks that are close together. Then, turn your camera about 90 degrees to the right, so you're facing east. You should see a clear path between patches of tall grass. Follow this path all the way east. As you get near the end, you'll see a glowing den on your left, next to some tall grass and a rock. After that, you'll come across two rocks that are a couple of meters apart.

Go through the gap between these two rocks. If you look to your left (north), you'll see a sort of 'gate' made from fallen rock pillars. At the base of this gate is the start of a dirt path. Head through the gate and start following this path north, towards the incline. Be careful, there's a Level 40 Sigilyph floating around near the start of this path.

The dirt path will eventually break up, and you'll see another path ahead. To your left, there are three dens clustered together. Keep following the path north. At the end, there's another 'gate' made of rock pillars. Go under it and continue heading north, staying a bit to the right (east). After a short while, you'll enter the Giant's Mirror area.

Giant's Mirror

As you enter the Giant's Mirror from the Stony Wilderness, you'll see tall grass on your left and a long rock on your right. Head forward (north), past a pond on your left. Stop when you reach a dirt path that goes left (west). Ahead, you'll spot a strong Pokémon, usually a Machamp, right where the path starts to turn. Follow this path to the left. There's a glowing den nearby.

From the den, turn your camera to face Hammerlocke (north-west). You should see a wide stretch of rough ground directly in front of you. To the left is the Dusty Bowl, and to the right is the path leading to Hammerlocke. Go up the path on the right. As you leave the rough ground, you'll transition into the final area.

Hammerlocke Hills

Once you're out of the Giant's Mirror, there's a den right next to some tall grass. Go up to it and turn your camera so the entrance to Hammerlocke, which looks like a dragon's head, is right in front of you. Now, head straight forward (west). Watch out for a strong Corviknight flying around. As you get closer to the entrance, there's another strong Pokémon, usually a Vileplume, on the right.

When you finally reach the entrance, you'll see two NPCs on the right: a Watt Trader and an Ingredient Seller. Standing right in front of the entrance is a League staff member. They won't let you pass unless you have 3 Gym badges. Show them your badges, and they'll move aside. Once you're ready, head up the stairs into Hammerlocke!
