The Isle of Armor DLC for Pokémon Sword and Shield introduces several unique NPCs who offer valuable services and items. From Diglett collectors to ore gamblers and item traders, these characters can significantly aid your journey. Here's a guide to the most useful NPCs you'll encounter:

• Diglett Trainer: Located by the bridge to the Master Dojo in the Fields of Honor. This NPC offers original and Alolan form Pokémon based on the number of Diglett you've rescued. A large sidequest involves finding 150 missing Diglett.
• Marketplace NPCs: Found to the right of the Master Dojo entrance. These include the Berry Grocer, Ingredients Seller, and Watt Trader, offering common berries, camping items, and Watts for items respectively.
• Bike Lady: Situated near the Master Dojo, on the way to the Soothing Wetlands. She offers customization options for your Rotom Bike (if it can traverse water) and can increase its charge speed.
• Digging Ma: Found in the Forest of Focus, near the Soothing Wetlands entrance. She offers an Armorite Ore and the chance to gamble for more. However, there's a risk of losing all ore, including the initial gift. She can also be found randomly across the Isle of Armor later.
• Digging Pa: Located in front of the Warm-Up Tunnel entrance in the Training Lowlands. For 7 Armorite Ore, he will dig up Watts, with no risk of losing them.
• Regina, the Traveling Trader: This NPC may appear occasionally, offering to trade specific Pokémon forms (original for Galarian, or Alolan for regular). She disappears after a trade but may reappear elsewhere.
• Pokédex Fanatic: Appears in various locations. For 100 Watts, she shows you the Pokédex page for a Pokémon you haven't seen, provided it has Habitat info. She leaves after the service but may reappear.
• Apricorn Lover: Once all Pokédex pages are shown, this NPC (likely the same woman) offers 4 random Apricorn items for 100 Watts. This is a good way to obtain Apricorns beyond shaking berry trees once a day.
• Galarica Cuff Lady: Resides on an island with an archway at the far end of Workout Sea. She combines 8 Galarica Twigs into a Galarica Cuff, essential for evolving Galarian Slowpoke. She also offers souvenirs if you show her Galarian Slowpoke or Slowbro.
• Lady Clear: Found on an islet in Workout Sea after progressing the Isle of Armor storyline. For 10 Armorite Ore, she will reset a Pokémon's EVs, which is useful for correcting mistakes or retraining Pokémon.
