    Reaching the Tower of Darkness:
    • From the Training Lowlands: If you have a water-traversing bike, head right from Soothing Wetlands towards Brawler's Cave. Cross the river, turn right, and follow the path upwards to Challenge Road. If you lack the bike, traverse the Forest of Focus again to reach the Training Lowlands, then turn right to find stairs to Challenge Road. Alternatively, use the flying taxi to reach the Training Lowlands, turn around towards the forest, go up the slope, and turn left; the stairs to Challenge Road should be ahead.

    From Challenge Road: Climb the stairs until you reach the scenic spot. Go up the slope on the left, then up the stairs ahead to the Tower of Darkness.

    Items near the Tower: A Muscle Band can be found to the left at the bottom of the stairs leading to the Tower. If you exit Brawler's Cave and turn right, a Metal Coat is past the tall grass on the left. Behind the tower, you can find a TR95 Throat Chop and Black Glasses.

    The Trial: Speak to the dojo student in front of the tower to begin. Be prepared, as you cannot back out once inside.

    Tower of Darkness Battles:
    • Master Dojo Student (Zorua, Level 23~65, Dark): Use Fighting-type moves like Brick Break or Close Combat. Be wary of Sucker Punch.

    Master Dojo Student (Scraggy, Level 24~66, Dark/Fighting): Use Fighting-type moves.

    Master Dojo Student (Inkay, Level 25~67, Dark/Psychic): Fighting-type moves are still effective, though they will do neutral damage due to Inkay's Psychic typing. Inkay does not have Psychic moves.

    Master Dojo Student (Krookodile, Level 26~68, Ground/Dark): Fighting-type moves are recommended. Watch out for Protect, which can waste PP.

    Dojo Master Mustard (Kubfu, Level 30~70, Fighting): Use Flying-type moves like Aerial Ace or Fighting-type moves like Brick Break. Avoid Close Combat unless your Kubfu is significantly higher level due to the Defense drop. Mustard's Kubfu may use Aerial Ace. If you deal enough damage to one-shot Mustard's Kubfu, it will survive with Focus Sash.

    Reward: After defeating Mustard, you can read the Scroll of Darkness to evolve Kubfu into the Single-Strike Style Urshifu. You will also receive Mustard’s League Card. You will then be transported to the Fields of Honor.
Tips
  • Ensure your Kubfu has a strong Fighting-type move or Aerial Ace for the battles.
  • Be mindful of PP usage, especially against Krookodile's Protect.
  • If your Kubfu is significantly higher level than Mustard's, you can afford to use moves with stat drops like Close Combat.
