    As Knuckles, use the Level Select menu to choose Sonic's/Tails' Death Egg Zone.

    You will encounter a Mini-Boss, but it is impossible to defeat as Knuckles because you cannot jump high enough.

    To continue, use Level Select again and choose Act 2 of the Death Egg Zone.

    After defeating Robotnik's Giant Robot, EggRobo will fly off with the Master Emerald.

    Defeat EggRobo; he will drop the Master Emerald, and you will be sent back to the Title Screen.
Tips
  • Since Knuckles cannot defeat the Mini-Boss, select Act 2 via Level Select to progress.
