When the Egyptian-Themed Robot moves towards you, Robotnik will charge up his laser cannon and fire a small laser at you. If you stay away from the robot, you should be able to dodge it. Robotnik will use his 2 hands to crush you, but you can use them to climb up the robot and hit the laser cannon. The armour of the robot will fall apart, revealing Robotnik in the process. Hit him a few times and jump off the robot, as the armour will cover (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects) it up again.
Once you have opened the Prison Egg, you'll automatically head right and Sonic will fall into the depths of Lava Reef Zone.
