Walkthrough

    At the start of the Act, head right until you pass the quicksand and push a switch all the way to open a door.

    Continue right until you are bounced into a sand waterfall. Ride it to the top.

    Instead of going right, go left through the still-open door.

    Head left to find an electrical shield underneath a small sand waterfall. Collect it.

    If the door has closed, use the nearby switch to reopen it.

    Head right and release the ghosts.

    Push the switch to pass through the room and reach the sand slides.

    Take the first slide down. When you drop to another slide, use your electric shield effect to make your way up this slide instead of down.

    At the top, take the slide that heads left.

    This slide will lead you to a secluded room containing the Giant Ring.
Tips
  • When using the electric shield to climb the slide, it is more effective to wait until you are falling back down to use the double jump effect. This will help you head right more easily.
  • The electric shield is the hardest method to climb the slide.
  • If you have gained your Super form, your enhanced jumping ability will be sufficient to make it up the slide. This is useful if you are going for your Hyper Sonic form or want an extra 50 rings.
  • The fire shield also works well if you managed to keep one from the previous act.
