Alright, let's talk about the Flybot767! These guys are pretty common in Launch Base Zone in Sonic 3 & Knuckles. Think of them as Dr. Eggman's take on seagulls, all gray with red plating on top, and a beak that means business. ### How They Attack These Flybot767s usually fly in from the right side of the screen and try to dive-bomb you. If you miss their attack, they'll just turn around and try again. They can also be summoned by alarm systems scattered around the zone, so keep an ear out! ### How to Beat Them Don't worry, they're not too tough. A simple Spin Jump or any of your other go-to attacks will take care of them. When you defeat one, it'll release an Animal and give you 100 points. Easy peasy! ### A Little Trick (and a Warning!) There's a neat trick in Launch Base Zone, right at the start of Act 1. If you stand in front of the first alarm system and get into your Spin Dash position, you can actually rack up a ton of points! The Flybot767s will keep coming at you, and you can just destroy them one after another. Just be careful – if you take too long doing this, you might end up with a Time Over! So, enjoy the point farming, but keep an eye on that clock. ### Fun Facts * Names: In Japan, they're known as Moewe (Mēbe), which is German for gull. The '767' in their name might be a nod to the Boeing 767 airplane, given their shape. * Appearance: In the game, they have a green underside, but in artwork, it's silver. This might have been due to color limitations back then. * Cameos: Believe it or not, they showed up in some concept art for the Egg Fleet stage in Sonic Heroes, even though they didn't make it into the final game.
