Walkthrough

    Head right and down the hill. Break through the wall to continue.

    Climb the cliff beneath a Dragonfly, defeat it, and grab an Invincibility. Drop down and run through the passageway to reach an Autumn version of the level.

    Glide back and forth to descend. Break through walls and bounce on a hidden spring. Glide across spikes and grab onto a blue mushroom lift. Press Left/Right to control its movement.

    Earlier in the Act, when you see a pulley lift and a Madmole, drop down. Run through the loop de loop and bounce on a hidden spring. Grab onto the blue mushroom lift and control it with Left/Right. Use the pulley lift and go past the Starpost. Bounce on another spring and use the nearby spring to send Knuckles right, landing near a hidden passageway with a Giant Ring.

    Use the mushroom seesaws and run through loop de loops. Drop through the gap and use the pole to hoist Knuckles up. Use the spring to go up a loop de loop and find a passageway with a Giant Ring.

    Go back up and use the nearby pulley lift. Go right and use mushrooms to reach a Super Ring and an Invincibility. Use the spring to go right. Go up a loop de loop and use another spring. When you land near a spring and a mushroom, drop left and head right to find a hidden passageway with a Giant Ring. Exit and use the seesaw to land on a spring above.

    Head across the vine-shaped bridge and past the Starpost. Use the pulley lift and bounce on the red spring to catapult Knuckles to the swing lift. Use springs to bounce Knuckles right, landing near a loop de loop. Past a Cluckoid, find a hidden passageway with a Giant Ring.

    Run through loop de loops and use the pulley lift to go upwards. Before doing so, go past a Cluckoid and enter a hidden passageway for a Giant Ring. Upon reaching the surface, go right and use mushroom seesaws. Go past the Starpost to find a satellite dish.

Strategy: The machine throws logs vertically. If you have the Fire Shield, hit it from below. Otherwise, wait for it to descend and attack it from above. Watch out for the thrown logs.
