When Robotnik appears, he will swing up and down. You can attack him while he is swinging. After swinging for a moment, Robotnik will move his machine towards you. If you position Sonic underneath it, Robotnik will fire a flamethrower at you. When Robotnik approaches you, jump to the opposite side of the screen. When Robotnik starts swinging again, you can hit him.
When the Prison Egg is opened, you will automatically run right and go through a hallway. Sonic jumps off the battleship and lands in Sandopolis Zone.
