Walkthrough

When facing Robotnik's spaceship, use the A, B, or C Buttons to speed up.

Trick the three missiles he launches into hitting the upper right grey part of the spaceship.

Lead the missiles towards the grey part to damage the spaceship.

The projectiles and missiles can briefly stop you, but missiles will be destroyed if they hit you.

Continue this process until the spaceship explodes.

After the spaceship explodes, Robotnik will appear in a giant robot to escape with the Master Emerald.

Enter another asteroid field to confront his giant robot.

Tips

Having nearly 100 Rings gives you ample time to win the spaceship battle.
If you have around 70 Rings, aim to win the spaceship battle as soon as possible.
