Complete Part 101 walkthrough for Deus Ex Remastered, detailing how to disable the four blue-fusion reactors and confront Bob Page.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
Upon entering the facility, you will find a female scientist with a DataCube containing the code LAB 12/GRAYTEST. Dodge an explosion and receive a call from Page.
  2. 2
Locate your birthing pod to the Northeast and Alex Denton's to the Northwest. An UPGRADE CANISTER is on the dead scientist's body, and a Medbot is also present.
  3. 3
To the North, find Environmental Generators. The nearby Terminal can be accessed with LAB 12/GRAYTEST (or GRAYTEST/LAB12 in some versions).
  4. 4
Turn off the Environmental Generators and disable the two Grays using Tranq. Darts, then evade them.
  5. 5
As you approach Page, Everett and Jacobson will contact you regarding the Illuminati's plan to spare the facility.
  6. 6
Proceed to the Southeast to find the pathway past Page. The plasma forcefield has EMP properties; stay near walls to avoid energy drain.
  7. 7
Avoid turret fire by destroying them or using Radar (your minimap with nearby blips and threats marked) Transparency (Thermoptic Camo will not work).
  8. 8
Climb a small ladder while Tong attempts to persuade you.
  9. 9
Stand on the elevator and look down into the pit where three of the four blue-fusion reactors are located. Do not take the elevator.
  10. 10
Find the pathway to the Southwest. Open a chest with an 80% Str Lock to find a LAM, DARTS, and FLARE DARTS.
  11. 11
Descend stairs, turn around, and find crates with a LAM and BUCKSHOT SHELLS.
  12. 12
Head North to find the first blue-fusion reactor. Use the code 7243 to deactivate it. Two Security Bots will be released; destroy or cloak past them.
  13. 13
In the alcoves where the Security Bots were, find a HAZMAT SUIT, a LOCKPICK, and a LAM.
  14. 14
Do not take the elevator. Open a grate and climb down into the red light chute. Open another grate to find crates with 30.06 AMMO and 10MM AMMO, and a datacube with the Aquinas Substation code.
  15. 15
Before opening the next door, be aware of Greasels and Karkians. Cloaking or using Thermoptic Camo is recommended.
  16. 16
To the North, on the other side of the building, find crates with 10MM AMMO and 7.62x51MM AMMO.
  17. 17
Further Northeast, find the second blue-fusion reactor and shut it down with 7243.
Tips
  • Djibriel's First Time Player Pick: Upgrade Cloak to Level 4.
  • The Blue Fusion Reactor is extraterrestrial technology, hinted at by its designation 'Artifact ROS172-E', referencing the Roswell UFO incident.
  • Alex Jacobson may have been sent by Tong to spy on Morgan Everett, but is now aiding Everett's plan to assassinate Bob Page.
  • The plasma forcefield has severe EMP properties; getting close will sap your energy.
  • Radar Transparency can be used to avoid turret gunfire, but Thermoptic Camo will not work.
  • Destroying the Universal Constructors that mass-produce creatures will not help, as Page is using three of them.
  • The code for the first blue-fusion reactor is 724*. Experimentation may lead to the correct code: 7243.
  • If you are sneaking and have enough resources for Cloaking, you can ignore the paragraph describing how to deal with the creatures.
  • Skill Points: 0
  • Augmentation Canisters: None
  • Weapon Modifications: Recoil

Decision Point: You must choose between three paths:

  • Join the Illuminati: Kill Bob Page and rule the world with Morgan Everett. This involves disabling the four blue-fusion reactors and cutting power to Page's defense system. This is considered the hardest option due to the scattered reactors.
  • Merge with Helios AI: Rule the world with absolute reason and knowledge.
  • Destroy Area 51: Destroy Area 51 and all global communications to rid the world of global tyranny, as proposed by Tracer Tong.
