Walkthrough
- 1When you encounter the first automated turret, use a Spy Drone or explosives to disable it. If you hacked the Terminal at the start of the Ocean Lab, this turret will be deactivated.
- 2In the Northeast corner, a 80% Strength Locked door contains two crates with a BALLISTIC ARMOR and a THERMOPTIC CAMO. This door can be unlocked with your Keyring if you took the Nanokey from the South wing.
- 3Near the turret, the East room contains a newspaper and two lockers. The lockers hold TECH GOGGLES and a MULTITOOL (right) and an unlocked one with a FIRE EXTINGUISHER. The West room has two lockers with 10MM AMMO (right) and a STEALTH PISTOL and a LASER WEAPON MODIFICATION (left). Read the newspaper for world updates.
- 4Find and descend the Deep Lift to the lowest level of the Ocean Lab.
- 5Be cautious of an armed GAS GRENADE on the East wall. Continue past the loading screen to find a DataCube on the ground.
- 6Avoid the blue laser trap that summons four small Arcbots. Bypass it by using the 100% Strength Control Panel, a Spy Drone, or explosives.
- 7Continue East through the next room; there is no resistance.
- 8In the next room, a massive Model 5 Chiang Arcbot is present. Use a powerful Spy Drone or explosives to defeat it. To the East are the UC and an elevator to its control. Smaller elevators on both sides lead to guarded items.
- 9South of this room is an area guarded by three small Arcbots. Use a Spy Drone or Scramble Grenades to deal with them. Treasures include an EMP GRENADE, two BIOELECTRIC CELLS, and a GAS GRENADE.
- 10North of this room is a radioactive area. Environmental Resistance or a Hazmat Suit can mitigate damage. Crates contain a LOCKPICK and two MULTITOOLS.
- 11Head to the large elevator to the East. Before summoning it, dive into the water. You will take EMP damage. The body of a Man in Black holds an UPGRADE CANISTER. Below him, find a DataCube with the MJ12/SKYWALKER login combo.
- 12Summon the elevator and ride it to the top.
- 13In the next room, automated turrets are on either side. Take cover behind screens. The terminal can extend the bridge to the East using the MJ12/SKYWALKER login. Destroy the turrets with rockets, a Spy Drone, or Rader Transparency. A body on the South side holds a BIOELECTRIC CELL; a body on the North side holds a MEDKIT.
- 14If you have Level 2 Speed Enhancement, you can leap across the gap without the bridge.
- 15Find the Repair Bot and the non-functional UC. Use MJ12/SKYWALKER on the computer to send Gary Savage the UC Schematics. He will give you a copy.
- 16Return from the lab. Bob Page will summon you. Continue past the Crew Modules, and you will hear Walton Simons approaching.

- A Spy Drone is highly effective against turrets and Arcbots.
- Explosives can also be used to destroy turrets and bypass laser traps.
- Consider using a Scramble Grenade to turn Arcbots against each other.
