Navigate the Aquinas Substation, bypass Page's traps, and engage the Wideband and Ultrawhite channels to complete Part 103 of Deus Ex Remastered. Choose the safe or quick route.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
From the Security Terminal, head west to the Infusion Control room (relevant for the Illuminati ending).
  2. 2
Choose your path to the Aquinas Substation:
    • Quick & Dangerous: Head northeast of the Aquinas Router door to the elevator. Ride it down. Page will blow up transformers. Use Energy Shield Augmentation if available. Run to the Security Terminal to the north to open the Aquinas Router door. Heal and return to the elevator. Be wary of fatal electrical shocks; there's no guaranteed safe route through this area. A 80% Str Control Panel to the west can shut down the hazard, but requires Multitools. Looting this area yields a MULTITOOL, HAZMAT SUIT, two BIOELECTRIC CELLS, and a MEDKIT.
  3. 3
Safe: Return to the room with Page's plasma bubble. Head south, dealing with turrets and the plasma EMP field. Climb the ladder, find the grate, and descend into the red pit. Open the grate to find crates with 30.06 AMMO and 10MM AMMO. Find the DataCube containing the Aquinas Router code: 6765 (or 6188 in some versions). Return to Page and the Aquinas Router door.
  4. 4
Use the code (6765 or 6188) to open the Aquinas Router door.
  5. 5
Helios will contact you to Engage the Wideband and Ultrawhite channels.
  6. 6
Find the computer and use the ICARUS/PANOPTICON combo to Engage the Primary Router.
  7. 7
Secondary Goal: Return to the Sector 3 Aquinas Hub. Go west past Page's room and the cloning pods, past the LOADING screen. Climb stairs and continue west until you reach the elevator. Ride it to level 3.
  8. 8
Listen to Page and Helios. Approach Helios to end the game.

Notes on Panopticon and Helios Ending:

  • Panopticon: An object or building allowing constant observation. In Deus Ex, Helios is an AI with omniscience through communications, akin to a god. It also relates to the Panopticon prison model, suggesting Helios's plan for humanity involves continuous observation and rule. The name Icarus, used in the combo, warns against playing God.
  • Helios Ending Symbolism: This ending fulfills Morpheus's prophecy of JC creating his own God. It suggests a belief in a higher power is necessary for society. Bob Page saw himself as this higher power. JC Denton can be seen as a messianic figure. This ending involves JC shedding his humanity to merge with Helios, contrasting with individual liberty. Literary influences include Ghost in the Shell and Colossus: The Forbin Project.
