    Go to the launch tube and ensure MJ12 does not sabotage the missile launch.

    Talk to Dr. Bernard again; he warns that Strong will keep the missile aimed at Vandenberg and an ambush awaits.

    Proceed past the blast doors into the main passage. You will encounter a Man in Black, another Man in Black, and two Commandoes. You can fight them using protective Augmentations and weapons, or use a WP Rocket. Be aware that after the 'trap' springs, they will always know your location, rendering camouflage ineffective. Retreating into darkness and using Cloak is an option to access an EMP GRENADE carried by one of the Men in Black.

    Alternatively, avoid the fight by opening a grate and entering a chute that leads to the water below the missile.

    Find the elevator to the West. It has six buttons:
    • 1: The water

    2: The floor with Howard Strong's crane

    3: Two Spider bots; a good sniping position for taking out Strong

    4: Repair Bot; 2 MiB's and 2 Commandoes may be present

    If you visit Strong on Floor 2, he will attack. He uses LAMs and a Pistol, and may use a Plasma Rifle or Crowbar.

    You can shoot Strong from the water or disable Spiderbots on the 3rd floor and then kill Strong by jumping on him.

    It is recommended to reach the Repair Bot floor to replenish Energy, watch for soldiers, and then shoot Howard Strong.

    Primary Goals: Get access to the Area 51 Bunker; get past the blast doors north of the helipad.

    To the West is Tower 17a. An MJ12 Sniper is on top and overlooks the bunker. Disable him first.

    You can hack a Terminal in Tower 17a to open the front blast doors, but there's a better way. Stick close to the tower wall to avoid sniper fire.

    South of the tower, find a dead body with a GEP GUN.

    On the north edge of the helicopter platform, find TRANQUILIZER DARTS.

    In the southeast corner, find a small shack with a camera, a turret, and an INF Strength door (60% Str Lock) containing a MEDKIT, a LAW, and 7.62x51MM AMMO. You can use Microfibral Muscle to stack crates and drop through the roof, hacking a Terminal to disable security.

    To get an Accuracy Weapon Mod, stack crates in front of a diagonal container. Leap down to find an MJ12 body with a LOCKPICK and 7.62x51MM AMMO. Alternatively, jump over a gap and inch along the side to find a soldier with a PISTOL and an ACCURACY WEAPON MODIFICATION.

    Head North. Disable the two Bravo-3 Peacebringer bots.

    In the Comm Building, Simons is waiting. If you descend to ground level, he will home in on you. He throws LAMs.

    This is your final encounter with Walton Simons. You can flee, knock him out, or kill him. He carries a PLASMA RIFLE. His weakness is a Dragon's Tooth to the face.

    Simons' Specs: 600 hit points, takes only 10% damage from Tranq. Darts and Riot Prod, immune to stunning effects, cannot be set on fire.

  • Camouflage is ineffective against the ambushers once the trap springs.

  • Avoiding the initial fight by using the chute is easier.
  • The elevator on Floor 3 provides a good sniping position for Howard Strong.
  • Replenishing Energy at the Repair Bot floor is advisable before confronting Strong.
