Walkthrough

    Collect a BIOELECTRIC CELL, an OPTICS AUGMENTATION CANISTER, a SUBDERMAL2 AUGMENTATION CANISTER, and a CRANIUM AUGMENTATION CANISTER.

    Install desired augmentations at a nearby Med Bot. Cloak is recommended over Radar (your minimap with nearby blips and threats marked) Transparency (a way to obscure your position on the minimap (the small circular map in the bottom-left corner of your screen), or radar). Targeting and Vision Enhancement are also suggested. If you picked up the Canister below UNATCO Headquarters, you may not need all of these. Upgrade Cloak to reduce its Energy drain if you have an Upgrade Canister.

    In the Southwest corner of the room, open a grate and climb through.

    Climb the ladders all the way up into a vent large enough to stand in.

    Take a left turn, then the second turn to the left.

    Beware of a Greasel in the vent; a single slash with the Dragon's Tooth or sniping from afar is recommended.

    Crawl all the way East, ignoring other paths, to obtain the 50 SP EXPLORATION BONUS for exploring VersaLife vents.

    Take a right turn at the end and follow the vent until you reach the bathroom.

    Return to the hall with the MJ12 statue and find your way to the location where Tracer Tong mentioned you could get the ROM-encoding.

    Execute the program to upload the Nanotech Blade ROM for the 150 SP ACCOMPLISHMENT BONUS. Alarms will sound once you leave the platform. Cloak Augmentation or Thermoptic Camo can help with this. Disabling enemies between the chamber and exit with Prod (a non-lethal stun weapon) is also an option.

    Take the elevator to the computer. Use MCHOW/DAMOCLES to gain access.

    Choose to Upload Nanotech Blade ROM.

    Primary Goal: Go to the temple in Wan Chai to cement the alliance between the Triads.

    Use the Cloak Augmentation paired with Speed Enhancement (which drastically increases movement speed but drains Energy quickly) to reach the elevator to the upper VersaLife floors before Cloak expires. Ensure you have BIOELECTRIC CELLS ready to use. Speed Enhancement alone is a risky but viable option. Camouflage is only needed upon entering the large red hall if you did not disable the soldiers earlier.

    Upon reaching the upper levels, you will face resistance. Tell John Smith on the top floor to make a run for it. Avoid being seen by security on the ground floor while descending the staircase to prevent raising the alarm.

    If you followed the advice, the security booth will be open. Entering it grants the 50 SP EXPLORATION BONUS for entering the VersaLife security booth.

    Inside the security booth, you can find a BIOELECTRIC CELL, a CLIP WEAPON MODIFICATION, a case of 10 MM AMMO, a DataCube, another DataCube with the login ALL_SHIFTS/DATA_ENTRY, and three Terminals to disable cameras. To get the skill points and Clip Weapon Mod (a community-made modification that changes the game) without hostility, use Cloak, grab the items, and exit via the elevator.

    Proceed to the Joss Temple next to the Luminous Path compound to meet Gordon Quick and Max Cheng and cement their alliance.

    You can speak with the News Stand Vendor and Ian Hilton about the truce. Confront the Drunk in the Old China Hand with the news.
