Alright, so you've finished the Shades of Blight main quest, and Emmrich is ready to get going on another task for you. He's got some rites to perform for the dearly departed, so let's get this 'Walking the Graves' quest started!

Walkthrough

First things first, you'll need to chat with Emmrich. You can find him hanging out at the Laboratory of the Lighthouse. He'll give you the quest details.

Once you've got the quest, fast travel over to the Necropolis Halls. From there, head towards the Vault of the Beloved. The easiest way to get there is by taking the northeast path out of the Hollow Belfry, Lower area.

Now, you're in The Memorial Gardens with Emmrich. This part is pretty chill. Your main job is to follow Emmrich and light a series of candles scattered around the gardens. Each candle you light helps honor the dead and gives you a little peek into their past.

You'll run into some dialogue choices as you go through the ceremony. Don't stress too much about these; they don't actually change the story or how Emmrich feels about you. Pick whatever sounds right for your character's personality.

Keep lighting those candles! You'll need to light a total of six.

After you've lit the sixth and final candle, Emmrich will use his special ability to interact with a bell right next to it. Go ahead and use that bell to summon some spirits.

Chat with the spirits that appear. They'll be pretty pleased with your efforts in honoring them.

Once you've finished talking to the spirits, interact with the bell one more time. This will wrap up the rite and trigger a cutscene.

After the cutscene plays out, the quest will officially conclude.
