All Chests and Puzzles in Arlathan Forest

This guide details the locations of all 11 regular chests and unique chests found in Arlathan Forest. Some chests require multiple visits and specific abilities to access.

Regular Chests:

1. Regular Chest 1 - Shoreside Ruins: Head to the Shoreside Ruins beacon. Go around the back of a house to find Magical Wards. Interact with them (Rook or Bellara) to open the door and access the chest. Available during Lace Harding’s **An Unfamiliar Sense** Companion quest.
2. Regular Chest 2 - Shoreside Ruins: Located north of the first chest in Shoreside Ruins. Use Harding or Rook’s Stone Sense ability to climb the central platform and reach the chest.
3. Regular Chest 3 - Ancient Aqueduct: Go to the southeast Ancient Aqueduct Beacon and head west. Find an Owl Statue; behind it is a disturbance. Walk close to it to detonate, creating a hole in the wall leading to the chest.
4. Regular Chest 4 - Shadowy Grove: From the Ruins Reach Beacon, head northeast into the large open area. The chest is in the southeast corner after dealing with enemies.
5. Regular Chest 5 - Riverside Ruins: Start at the northern Ancient Aqueduct Beacon, go north into Riverside Ruins. Walk toward the rift to destroy a western wall. Repair a device near the eastern exit (Bellara or Rook). Find a Power Crystal amongst boxes to the west and place it on the repaired device to lower the eastern barrier and access the chest.
6. Regular Chest 6 - Tattered Bridge Puzzle: Travel to the Nameless Building Beacon and go west to the Tattered Bridge. Climb ledges and a ladder to the top of a building. Take a zipline west, follow a path, and go south to loop back. Grab a Power Crystal and place it in the first device on your left to access a northern laser. Direct this laser at the device under the southern laser to create a bridge. Remove the Power Crystal from the first device so it doesn't block the first laser. Direct the second laser to a device on the wall near the first zipline to create a bridge to the chest.
7. Regular Chest 7 - Jagged Ruins: Go to the Jagged Ruins Beacon in the northwest. During the Magic of the Ancients Side Quest, charge a laser found southeast of the ruins, high up. Direct this laser at the device to the east (not the larger one across platforms) to erect a bridge to the chest in the southwest.
8. Regular Chest 8 - Eastern Ancient Aqueduct: Go to the southeast Ancient Aqueduct Beacon. Follow the path to the west and into a building. Continue following the path to circle back to the chest from above and leap to reach it.
