    After completing The Siege of Weisshaupt Main Quest, speak with Warden Greta outside the Blighted Tunnel in the Lavendel Area to start the Lives Spared quest.

    Find evidence in Lavendel:
    • Pick up A Hastily Written Note from the bed south of the bridge.

    Pick up the Quickly Missive from the floor in the shack west of the bridge.

    Pick up the Meeting Plans from the bed at the campsite northwest of the area.

    Find A New Warden’s Journal on the table in the house east of the campsite.

    With all evidence collected, head to the Blighted Grove. Climb the ladder at the southernmost point of the Sheltered Glade and follow the path.

    Defeat the large group of enemies at the entrance to the Blighted Grove. Some enemies have yellow shields that can be broken with heavy attacks.

    In the center of the Blighted Grove, collect the Maferath, the Betrayer Memento next to a torch.

    Interact with the corpse on the platform to the right of the torch to obtain a Fallen Map.

    Follow the map to the Lost Village. Use the zipline near the stairs to reach the Swamp Road, then head south.

    Destroy the boils of blight located in the four corners of the room to make the central root vulnerable. Follow the branches from the root if you have trouble finding the boils.

    Once the root is destroyed, shoot the now vulnerable blight sealing the wall on the left side of the room.

    Speak with the wardens at the end of the path to complete the quest.

  • Some enemies at the Blighted Grove entrance have yellow shields that require heavy attacks to break.
  • Follow the branches from the blight root to locate the boils if you are having trouble finding them.
