Complete walkthrough for the In Memoriam quest in Dragon Age: The Veilguard. Find murder locations, collect clues, and defeat demons to solve the mystery in Dock Town.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
Start the Quest: Head to the bridge in the Razikale Walk Area of Dock Town. Interact with the corpse to trigger an ambush. Defeat the demons, then speak with the spirit to begin the 'In Memoriam' quest.
  2. 2
Solve Bridge Murder: Go north of the initial corpse. Pick up the Page Torn From a Journal from the stairs on the left. Then, enter the hut on the left and pick up the Hortensia’s Garden Journal.
  3. 3
Solve Temple Murder: Travel to the Andraste’s Watch Area and interact with the corpse on the wooden platform. Defeat the summoned demons, paying special attention to Remorse. Use ranged attacks to break his shield, exploit his vulnerability to fire, and then use combo attacks. Follow the blood splats, pick up the Unmarked Journal from a box in the corner, and the Property of Marcus, Scholar from the table in the middle of the area.
  4. 4
Solve Market Murder: Proceed to the Urthemiel Venue on the eastern side of the map. Clear out the enemies using similar tactics as before. Follow the blood splats down the slope and pick up the Charcoal Drawing of the Market next to a ladder. Climb the ladder and collect the Charcoal Drawing of Dock Town and the Charcoal Drawing of a Rooftop.
Tips
  • When fighting Remorse in the Temple Murder investigation, focus on breaking his shield with ranged attacks before engaging him directly.
  • Utilize fire-based spells or abilities against Remorse, as he is vulnerable to this element.
  • Pay attention to the blood splats to easily follow the trail of clues at each murder site.
