Dead Men Tell Some Tales Quest Walkthrough

Start the Quest: After completing the 'Lair of the Dragon King' quest in Act 2, find a note in Taash's room in The Lighthouse. This initiates the quest. Return to Rivain and go to the Cliff Climb Beacon. Head west to find ruins and a lootable object that spawns the Spirit of Adventure, officially starting the quest.

First Clue: The first clue reads, “Follow from shark’s maw to leviathan’s tail and let not your spirits fail.” Teleport to the Tide Flats Beacon. Head south towards the shore to find remains. You will be attacked by Undead, including an Undead Pirate Bosun (Level 45). After defeating them, find the second clue on a skeleton behind a large rock near the bones.

Second Clue: The second clue states, “Where the rock stands tall, look for the shortest waterfall.” Head to the Clifftops Beacon and descend towards Dragon Beach. At the bottom, you'll face Undead Pirate Weather Mages. After the fight, look near the lowest waterfall to find the skeleton with the final clue.

Final Clue: The last clue is, “My booty’s within reach, you’ll grab it at the beach.” Go to the Winding Shoreline Beacon. Head to the beach south of where you first enter Rivain. You will encounter the final group of Undead, including the Undead Pirate Captain (Level 45) and other skeletons. Prioritize eliminating the Mages.

Treasure Room: After defeating the final group of enemies, the Spirit of Adventure will appear again. Speak to it, and a nearby wall will slide open, revealing the treasure room.
