In Entropy's Grasp

You begin this quest after progressing through the Shadow of Ancient Arlathan main quest and taking an Eluvian to the Arlathan Forest.

Your first objective is to find Bellara Lutare, a Veil Jumper. You will be accompanied by a companion who was not injured at the start of the adventure.

Head west down a slope and you will encounter a construct enemy with an Armor bar. Use heavy attacks to deplete its armor before attacking its health.

After defeating the construct, a scene will trigger, and you will meet Bellara Lutare, who will join your team for this quest. If Harding is with you, they synergize well, enabling Combos. Ensure at least one companion has a healing ability.

Once you regain control, follow the river north. Look to the left for a small path leading to a chest.

Continue north. Instead of going up the slope to the bridge, pass under it and find a ladder. Climb it to reach a second chest.

Drop back down and take the slope up to the bridge. As you start to cross, you will be attacked by Demons. These enemies do not have an Armor bar and you will learn to utilize companion attacks effectively.

After defeating the Demons, enter the Elven Temple. In front of you will be a large chest containing a piece of gear relevant to your Class.

Open the doors to the north to exit the temple.

You will need to traverse the Forest Path to reach the main temple. You'll encounter a large gap. Look to the right for a Power Crystal. Pick it up and bring it back to the pedestal to create a bridge.

After crossing the bridge, you will find a Resonance Amplifier to your left. Have Bellara interact with it to start a sequence where you must defeat waves of enemies while protecting her. The first group includes a Lesser Voltaic Shade with a Barrier, which requires ranged attacks to deplete. The second group is similar, and the third group features two Shades. Dodge their ranged attacks.

Once the device is active, continue north up the Mountain Path and defeat another Sentinel. Enter the Cliff Wolf Temple.

The door on your right will be locked. Take the Power Crystal from the pedestal on the left and use it on the pedestal outside the locked door to open it.

Continue down this path and you will find another Gear Chest.

Head to the next room where you will find four inactive Sentinels. As you approach the door to the north, they will become active. Try to avoid being surrounded and keep moving.

Use the doors to leave this area and find yourself back outside. Follow the path to trigger a scene indicating the appearance of Darkspawn, which attack in swarms. Use AoE (Area of Effect) abilities if you have them.

After defeating the Darkspawn, look to the bridge and head down to the left to find a small chest.

Return and have Bellara interact with another Resonance Amplifier. Protect her from several groups of enemies, this time consisting of Darkspawn.

After the threat is over, cross the bridge and continue along the path to reach another open area.

Your path will be blocked by a wall. Interact with the Ballista facing the wall and fire to break it, which will cause more Darkspawn to emerge. Use the Ballista to defeat them.

Continue along the path and find a third and final Resonance Amplifier. Interact with it and defeat waves of enemies to open the path ahead.

Head through the opening and take the stairs up and around until you reach a central platform with a Gear Chest. As you approach it, a Frenzied Sentinel will attack.
