Walkthrough

    Start by moving down the path to the left. Under the bridge, find an EDF corpse with two Laser Trip Mines. Further down, more EDF corpses have a Ripper and a Pipe Bomb.

    Return to the start and move along the path to the right. Break open barricades with melee attacks. An EDF soldier's corpse will fly towards you; continue moving.

    Enter a tunnel with a purple glow, push the Bug Ball out near the claw to proceed.

    After the first 'special' door, look left for a dead EDF soldier with a Ripper and a Pipe Bomb. This is [HELMET 2/3].

    Proceed to the next door. You can take a lower path with a light and an EDF crate containing a Pipe Bomb, or an upper path. Shoot the light to retract claws on the lower path. Stay along the far edge of the bridge on the upper path to avoid claws.

    Through the next door, an Octabrain appears but is blocked by a wall and flies away.

    In the next room, shoot one explosive pod to cause a chain reaction. Crouch and walk into the next chamber. An Assault Trooper Captain teleports in and out without attacking.

    Before the next door, jump onto the elevated level on your right to find a Ripper. Ahead, two more EDF soldiers have a Shotgun and two Pipe Bombs.

    As you approach the next door, an Octabrain attacks. Use the Shotgun for this close-range fight.

    After moving through the door, ignore or shoot everything. The next door is straight ahead.

    In the next tall chamber, three Octabrains will pass by; do not shoot them as they will ignore you. Drop down to the right and use the jump pad.

    Use the next jump pad to navigate the room and land near a door on your right.

    The next room contains Captured Babes and Egg Pods. An RPG launcher is on the platform to your left. After Duke's joke, retreat to the platform above to pick off Octababies.

    Be aware that four more Captured Babes will explode if you get too close. Shoot them with the Ripper or Pistol to prevent them from exploding.

Tips:

  • Barricades can be busted open with melee attacks, saving ammo.
  • Bug Balls have 100 health but are invincible.
  • Octabrains do not have a headshot weakness. They can kill Duke in three hits on DiG difficulty.
