Walkthrough

    Follow the invisible man's path clockwise through the alley to exit on the south side of the block, then go west and north to pause before the second set of steps.

    He runs south across the street and north on the sidewalk to pause at the beginning of the lighter section of the wall on the left.

Tips
  • If you want to see the damsel in distress up close before doing the task, go to the lawn by the sea southeast of the southeast corner of Downtown. Climb up the main creases of the brown and tan rocks near the top, go right near that edge to go over the highest rocks, and go down the rocks toward the thinner projection of rocks at the base. The lady can be seen on a lower section of rocks to the right. Go carefully around the left side of the invisible solid at the crest of the projection of rocks, then jump down to the woman.
  • The lady in distress is also seen dancing with a sailor in one of the two adjacent dining rooms of the Corleone Hotel in "The Whore."
  • Use a fast car with good handling (the Manta Prototype will do) and the Mosin-Nagant sniper rifle from "Snipe Three Snipers."
  • If you don't have a Mosin-Nagant 1891/30 sniper rifle, you can use "Mafia Hack V1.03" to give Tommy a new one. See the section on "Mods."
  • A glitch in game version v1.2 causes the key for Sniper Mode to disappear from the Controls section of the menu when you load a game. Make sure the key you want to use (X is recommended) is entered and your Sniper Mode key works before starting the task.
  • Drive fast while honking the horn to get traffic out of the way.
  • One possible route to the Rainbow Gardens Restaurant: go south, making a few turns, to get on the road to the Giuliano Street Tunnel, go southeast and through the tunnel, continue to the T-intersection at the south end of Central Island, go east with a couple of turns to get on the East Marshall Bridge, go east across the bridge and continue to the southeast corner of Downtown, go past the little building near the corner, and go right to go downhill to the left stairway landing.
