Warning: Do not use a slow car, as this is a timed mission. The Bolt V8 Roadster in Salieri's warehouse is a suitable option.

You can obtain a Lassiter V16 Police car before seeing Lucas to use for this mission or for glitches.

To get the Lassiter V16 Police car: From the southwest corner of the most northern block of Hoboken, go north on the east side of the narrow road to the north end of the orange fence/south end of the wooden fence. Go north to the third wooden support post and walk through it into a dirt lot. Head south-southeast toward the five-story brick building with a tree on its west end. The car is further east by that building.

Turn the car west to drive east-northeast over the lot to a spot east of the west end of the railroad track's straight east-west part, where there is no wooden fence to prevent driving onto the track. Travel east or west on the track to a railroad crossing and get onto the road.

The Lassiter V16 Police car cannot be saved at the garage.

The location of the Lassiter V16 Police car and its entry/exit points are marked on the map by Gavel.

If you wait until the police arrive and enter the house, you will see they are dressed differently, drive a Lassiter V16 Police car, and fighting them does not immediately create an arrest warrant or police assault state.

Two police officers in blue uniforms guard the door, while two others enter the building. If Tommy attacks them, they will attack him.

Normally, the police start transporting the four officers to Lucas' friend's place with 20 seconds left on the Pocket Watch and arrive shortly after Tommy's time limit expires. Tommy cannot use the car once the policemen exit.

Glitched Method: To use the Lassiter V16 Police car: Complete the mission normally, then get back in the car with more than 20 seconds left on the Pocket Watch (otherwise, it will disappear). The four policemen will appear fused with Tommy. The car teleports to an east-west road west of the southwest corner of Hoboken's most northern block.

In the glitched method, you can accelerate the car but not steer it; it steers itself to Lucas' friend's place. If you stop accelerating, it stops west of the friend's place as time expires, and Tommy states he didn't make it. You gain full control once the car is by its usual stopping point.

If you stop the glitched car outside, the policemen go to the friend's place. If you stop inside a location like Lucas Bertone's garage, the policemen exit and stand still.

An easier way to achieve the same glitched effect: start the mission with the car parked at Lucas' garage.
