Mafia: Definitive Edition Part 82 walkthrough: Get the key from the lifeguard, find the Colt Detective Special, and assassinate the councillor.
Walkthrough
- 1Go to the second deck and attempt to open the bathroom door with the sign "SKIPPER HAS KEY." Tommy cannot open it without the key.
- 2Return to the first deck and talk to the skipper, who is seated and says the lifeguard likely has the key.
- 3Find the lifeguard, a sailor leaning against the rail on the left back side of the first deck. He will give you the key if you promise to clean the bathroom and return the key. He will wait on the stern.
- 4Go through the nearby bathroom door (with a lifebuoy on either side) and pick up the Bucket.
- 5Return to the second deck, back right side, and open the bathroom door.
- 6Enter the bathroom and use it. A cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically) (an in-game cinematic) will play showing Tommy cleaning.
- 7In the clean bathroom, turn to the little stand on the far right and use it to get the Colt Detective Special.
- 8Leave the bathroom and find the lifeguard on the front of the first deck. Give him the key back.
- 9Go to the area before the singer and band, Bandits of Rhythm, on the front of the third deck.
- 10Wait for the councillor and his bodyguards to emerge from a cabin on the back right side of the third deck and take the stage.
- 11Shoot the councillor anytime from when he starts his speech until he is safe back in his cabin.
Tips
- The Bucket is a novelty item and not a good weapon.
- If you skip getting the Bucket and go straight to the lifeguard, he will eventually give you the key after you attempt to open the bathroom door.
- An alternative method involves getting the key, skipping the Bucket, retrieving only the handgun from the bathroom (as you cannot clean without the Bucket), dropping the handgun on the left side of the third deck, and then retrieving it after the lifeguard shoves you for not cleaning.
- You can time it so the lifeguard does not have time to check the bathroom before the councillor's speech begins, negating the need to drop the gun.
- The Colt Detective Special found in the bathroom is a reference to the movie "The Godfather."
- A guest near the back right of the third deck may comment on the absence of "riff-raff and criminals."
