Part 79

After a cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically) where Tommy parks and enters Pepe's restaurant with Salieri, you'll witness a conversation between Salieri and Pepe.

During your meal, six gangsters arrive and open fire through the front window with Thompson 1928s and Pump-action shotguns.

Tommy provides cover (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects) by pushing a table, while Salieri expresses frustration about his meal being ruined and the wine not being tasted.

One gangster throws a Grenade, which misses Tommy and Salieri but sets the restaurant on fire.

Salieri instructs Tommy to go around the back while he keeps the gangsters entertained.

Tommy's (Salieri's) Health bar appears on the HUD (Heads-Up Display). Crouch when shooting and gather weapons as needed.

Go to the back of the room and then right to exit through a door.

Use your Colt 1911 to shoot through the window on the right to kill a gangster in the distance if visible.

Use the Health cabinet on the left for 25 Health (now or later).

Exit through the back door.

Go right through the lot to the alley.

Kill the gangster on the sidewalk past the alley if not already done.

Pick up the dead gangster's Thompson 1928 and equip it.

Return to the lot, open the door at the top of the steps of a building beside Pepe's, and shoot one or two gangsters.

Go to the front corner of this building for cover if needed, or move near the wall to avoid shotgun fire from a gangster on the second floor of the building to the right of Pepe's.

Shoot several gangsters.

To deal with the gangster on the second-floor stairway landing, aim up and back from the bottom of the stairs until he is visible and shoot him.

After a cutscene where Salieri thanks Tommy for saving him, Salieri reveals that Carlo, his bodyguard, set them up.

Salieri states Carlo lives in a rented house in Little Italy, near their bar, with a pizzeria downstairs.

Collect weapons from the area in front of Pepe's.

Drive Salieri to Carlo's place, located in a four-story building on the north-south road north of the west end of the West Marshall Bridge.

Go to the brown wooden door.
