Walkthrough
  1. 1
    Stealth Approach (Baseball Bat):
    1. Obtain a Baseball Bat from a motorist en route to the Corleone Hotel.
  2. 2
Use the bat to incapacitate the two door guards through the front hall windows.
  3. 3
Ignore the front desk clerk and proceed to the second dining room to knock out the manager (in a white suit).
  4. 4
Move to the first dining room and incapacitate the bodyguard seated there.
  5. 5
Return to the first dining room and knock out the sailor dancing with a prostitute to prevent him from using an S&W Model 10 M&P.
  6. 6
Go back to the front lobby, knock out the front desk clerk, and retrieve the key to the director's office.
  7. 7
Proceed to the second floor and incapacitate the gangster in the waiting room.
  8. 8
On the third floor, incapacitate the gangster walking around. Skip the interaction with the prostitute.
  9. 9
On the fourth floor, enter the short hall to the right and go into the director's office on the left.
  10. 10
Plant the bomb (the gangster inside will ignore Tommy).
  11. 11
Exit the office, return through the door, and head towards the window at the far end of the hall.
  • Alternative Approach (Knife/Empty Hands):
    1. Equip a Knife from the Inventory (press I).
    2. Use a fully-powered Knife attack on the manager's back.
    3. Switch to Empty Hands (press E).
    4. Go to the front lobby, get behind the front desk, and climb onto the small stand behind the clerk.
    5. Wiggle or side-roll to drop past the stand and obtain the director's office key.
    6. Return over the stand the same way.
    7. Go around the front desk to talk to the clerk.
    8. Go up the stairs to the fourth floor, turn right through the open glass doors into the small hall, and enter the director's office on the left.
    9. Plant the bomb (the gangster inside will ignore Tommy).
    10. Exit the office, return through the door, and head toward the window at the far end of the hall.
  • Escape and Rooftop Section:
    1. After planting the bomb, run back through the wooden door towards the window at the far end of the hall.
    2. Tommy will jump through the window onto a nearby roof.
    3. The next section involves navigating rooftops with shoot-outs.
  • Rooftop Navigation (A Lot of Shoot-outs):
    1. Head right and get on a ledge at a 90-degree angle.
    2. Go over the ledge and up the fire escape.
    3. Proceed over the fire escape ramp, through a gray door, and up the stairs.
    4. Go through another gray door and onto a ledge (right or left), then a higher ledge.
    5. Continue onto a small rectangular roof, then a wide ledge on the far left.
    6. Make a running jump to the lower roof ahead.
    7. Cross the roof diagonally, onto a ledge, and jump down to box-like structures, then onto another roof.
    8. Move left onto box-like structures and down to a lower roof.
    9. Go clockwise around a roof structure. Use the edge of a wall on the left for cover, or get onto a box-like structure with smoke stacks.
    10. Shoot the five policemen armed with Colt Detective Specials and one with a U.S. Rifle M1903 Springfield on the roof below. Tommy may need to descend to shoot one policeman near the far side of the box-like structure.
    11. Descend to the roof occupied by these policemen.
    12. As Tommy proceeds to the far end of the roof, two policemen (one with a Colt Detective Special, the other with an S&W Model 10 M&P) will briefly appear above the roof ledge to the left.
    13. To deal with them: Position Tommy where the rifleman was, close enough that the roof ledge provides cover. Shoot them when only the tops of their heads are visible. Alternatively, go left onto wooden scaffolding and ascend to the roof to shoot them.
    14. Further options include shooting five policemen climbing up from below and a policeman with a Thompson 1928 on the street from the first fire escape, or going left at the top of the fire escape to shoot policemen.
  • Rooftop Navigation (One Shoot-out):
    1. Head to the far right corner of the roof.
    2. Get on the ledge and make a running jump to the ledge of the nearby building.
    3. Proceed left on the ledge.
    4. At the corner with multiple projections and narrow ledges, face the building (using Mouse Aim) and continue pressing forward.
  • Tips
    • When confronting the manager, Tommy can say, "This is the way everybody ends up when they sell out to Morello." If Tommy shoots the manager before he runs, the manager will say, "Who...who sent you? Why--aaarrgghh."
    • A blonde prostitute may offer Tommy a good time. Following her and a sailor to a room allows Tommy to overhear them. To find the room, take the main stairway to the second floor and go right to the first door on the left.
    • Tommy can punch the prostitute, causing her to run around the hotel with the sailor following her.
    • The cutscene shows Tommy jumping through a window onto a roof, landing with a roll, and remarking, "Just regular work."
    • Mission completion and progression to the next section,
