Walkthrough

    Find a corpse behind some spider eggs. Kill the spiders up the ramp and loot the corpse here, then head up the road.

    Kill the spider you find, but beware of a LARGE FOULDER coming down the road.

    Kill the archer up ahead and take on the Onyudo past him (Sloth Talismans help out a lot on him).

    Head to the corner for a corpse then look to the gate up ahead.

    You can snipe a skeleton from here if you wish. Do so and nab the corpse on the right.

    Past the gate, you can take a right to a ladder to reach another corpse in the watchtower.

    Head towards the building and kill a Skeleton Warrior, then look inside it to see an Axe Yokai inside. Take him out (use the doorway to your advantage) and loot the corpse inside.

    To the right of the building, destroy the junk in the way to find a Warrior Kodama (1/9).

    Drop down onto the roof of the building below the ledge across from the building you just cleared. Claim the corpse there.

    Head to the northwest corner and drop down to the lower roof to find a Healer Kodama (2/9).

    Drop down and kill the spider in the building, as well as the eggs here so you can loot the corpse.

    Exit and go right to fight another spider past the room (that has nothing in it), but you can open the door here to unlock a shortcut back to the Shrine.

    Head back and take on the mist-door now, to fight another Giant Spider.

    Be sure to nab the corpse in the water as well.

    Open the door the Giant Spider was guarding and go on through.

    Stick to the right and a spider will be in the first building. Kill it and get the corpse here.

    Continue following the right wall as it wraps around. In a hallway, to the right, two Skeleton Warriors will show up. Kill the archer quickly, then grab the corpse to the right.

    Head out back and open the gate. You can get a corpse near a well here (DO NOT DROP DOWN YET).

    Inside the building is a corpse.

    Open the gate here to create another shortcut.

    Head back to the area past the Skeleton Warriors and approach the mist on the right, past a weak door. This is a Ninja Yokai. Use the corner in the hallway to help you.

    Once the Ninja Yokai is dead, kill the spider and eggs in the room and get the corpse on the right for the Key to the Castle Gates key item.

    Find a hidden Hot Spring to the left of that corpse by destroying the wall.

    Head back across the room to the far wall, veering left a bit to the very far wall. To the right is a yokai examining a body. Kill him off to claim the corpse for yourself.

    Outside this room to the left is some spider eggs and a spider. Kill them off.

    Go back to the wall and follow it outside to some mist. Engage to fight a Giant Skeleton Warrior, but beware of the spider here as well. Use the doorway to punish them.

    Continue outside to the chest the skeleton was guarding and then follow the wall to the back.

    In the room back here is a big chest, but it is a mimic chest. Match the trickster's action for loot.

    Go outside and look to the corners to find the Swordsman Kodama (3/9).

    Head back to the gate you fought the giant spider at. Head RIGHT from there, to the open gate.

    Take out the wandering Skeleton Warrior over here. The path leading up leads to a gate you can't open.

    Go down to the mist now and take on the Onyudo that will appear. Try to stay away from his right, as there's a Skeleton Warrior over there.

    Head right down the slopped path for another corpse.

    The building down here has spiders in it, but a chest as well.

    Break the boxes by the building's side for a Hunter Kodama (4/9).

    Head down into the caves. Spiders are on the ceiling and will drop onto you. Kill the first one in the first corridor.

    Knock down and kill two more spiders to the right.

    Head back to the well found earlier. Drop down and spider webs will save you.

    Shoot the spider nearby and try to drop kill him.

    Go into the OTHER tunnel to find another spider guarding a corpse at the end.

    Go to the other tunnel now and down into a large area. There is a wandering Fiend down here, so get his attention and kill him.

    Destroy the eggs here and look to the left. Shoot the spider here and kill him.

    On the right side (from where you entered), destroy the eggs and you'll see a Warrior Kodama (5/9) you can send home.

    Before you approach the mist, shoot the medium spiders in the distance (one to the left, one to the right).

Tips
  • Sloth Talismans help a lot against Onyudo.
  • Use doorways to your advantage against the Axe Yokai.
  • Do not drop down the hole near the first building; instead, find the Healer Kodama on the lower roof.
  • Remember the well; you will return to it later.
  • Use the corner in the hallway to help against the Ninja Yokai.
  • Destroy walls to find hidden Hot Springs.
  • Use the doorway to punish enemies when fighting the Giant Skeleton Warrior and spider.
  • Beware of spiders on the ceiling in the caves.
  • Use the narrow path to slow down the Onyudo if you need to heal.
