Nioh 3 Part 48 walkthrough covering the Honda Tadakatsu boss fight and the Ryunoshin the Dung Lover quest.
Walkthrough:
- From the start, go to the shed across the way to loot a corpse.
- Head down the path behind you and up the stairs to the next area.
- Kill the Fiend to your right.
- Return to the top of the stairs, go straight ahead, and destroy the junk to find a hidden Healer Kodama (a type of spirit that can heal you).
- Go to where the Fiend was and ignore the door to the left for now.
- Head right to a ladder, climb it, and loot the corpse.
- Follow the catwalk path to a ladder you can kick down for a shortcut (optional).
- Return to the door, go past it, and around the corner.
- Climb the ladder, kill the Dweller (an enemy), and collect the Swordsman Kodama on the rafters.
- Plunge down into the Onyudo (a large, rolling enemy) below to damage it, then dodge its attacks to defeat it.
- Loot the Big Chest and the corpse in the area.
- Go back to the door and enter it to face a possessed warrior.
- Enter the boss arena to face Honda Tadakatsu.
- Destroy the three purple crystals in the arena to end the fight. Use Sloth Talismans or buff yourself with extra damage (e.g., Attack Pills, Talismans) to make this easier.
- Honda Tadakatsu's attacks include throwing boulders and charging. Angle yourself between him and the crystals.
- The third crystal is upstairs; Honda Tadakatsu will not follow you there. Watch out for his rock toss.
- Any crystals destroyed remain destroyed even if you die.
- After the fight, gather loot. Note the inaccessible door upstairs.
- Continue through the next door and see another large purple crystal in an inaccessible room.
- Head left, break junk, and loot a corpse.
- Go down the ladder, break items, and proceed to the hallway.
- Speak to the non-hostile NPC (non-player character — anyone the game controls, not you), Ryunoshin the Dung Lover, who requests dung balls.
- Unlock the door near Ryunoshin for a shortcut.
