Walkthrough

    Defeat the Onryoki (a former boss enemy now common) using its non-chained attacks.

    Turn the nearby crystal.

    Dodge the orbs launched by the giant cadaver, while Hanzo distracts it.

    Head down the slope, kill the Oni, and proceed past it to find a Shrine by a Well.

    Heal at the Shrine.

    Enter the house and kill the Skeleton Warrior.

    Kill the Giant Skeleton Warrior just outside the house.

    Kill the next Skeleton Warrior past the red crystal.

    Go around the house to find another mist area with an ONRYOKI. Fight it away from the nearby Giant Skeleton.

    If you defeat the Onryoki, loot the [_CORPSE x4_] in the area for skill items.

    Visit the last shrine to heal and level up.

    Fight your way back to the pit where the Gasha-Dokuro is located.

    Drop down to begin the boss fight.

BOSS ENCOUNTER: GASHA-DOKURO

This fight is a gimmick. You are unlikely to die from its attacks if you have enough health and armor. Hanzo and Tenkai assist you.

  1. Wait for Gasha-Dokuro to slam its hands down.
  2. Attack its hands.
  3. Once both hands are destroyed, Gasha-Dokuro will fall after Tenkai binds it and Hanzo hits it with Cannons.
  4. Attack its head. You can also attack its feet for damage, but focus on the head once the feet are destroyed.
  5. Repeat the process.
  6. A Fire Spirit spawns where you drop down; kill it for a buff to use against the hands.
  7. Keep your health full and buff up when Gasha-Dokuro is falling to maximize damage on its head.

BOSS MOVES:

  • Hand Slam: Gasha-Dokuro slams its hands down. Roll out of the way and then attack the hands. Destroying them allows you to damage Gasha-Dokuro's feet or head.
  • Tail Spin: Gasha-Dokuro spins and whips its tail. Guard against this attack. You can recharge Ki quickly even if you run out.
  • Energy Barrage: Gasha-Dokuro launches energy orbs. Dodge out of the way.
Tips
  • The [_HUNTER KODAMA_] found in the house stove is the last one for this mission.
  • Fighting the second Onryoki around the house prevents the nearby Giant Skeleton from interfering.
  • Consider looting the [_CORPSE x4_] after defeating the second Onryoki for skill items.
  • Buff up when Gasha-Dokuro is falling to deal more damage to its head.
  • The Fire Spirit spawn near where you drop down can provide a useful buff.
