Walkthrough
- 1Find an Odd Keystone. One can be obtained by talking to a Blackbelt near the end of Route 208 (hidden near trees south of the gate to Hearthome). Alternatively, there's a very rare chance of digging one up in the Underground, or finding one using the Dowsing Machine in the pond south of your house in Twinleaf Town on one of the surrounding trees.
- 2Take the Odd Keystone to the stone tower on Route 209 (the one resembling a well, near the western bend). Press A to place the keystone.
- 3The second part requires you to talk to 32 different people in the Underground over Wi-Fi. Hikers who give items do not count. You can talk to the same person repeatedly by leaving and re-entering the Underground. It is recommended to keep track of your interactions, possibly using a piece of paper and pen or the point counter app on your Pokétch from the Veilstone Department Store. A counter is also available on the Underground's menu.
- 4Once you have spoken to 32 people, return to the stone tower on Route 209. Save before the encounter.
Tips
- Spiritomb is a Level 25 Ghost/Dark type Pokémon. It has no weaknesses but a high capture rate, so Ultra Balls are recommended.
- Bring a Pokémon around Level 26-30 with non-Normal or Psychic moves to battle Spiritomb.
- Spiritomb has decent Defense and Special Defense, but low Speed and HP. Its Attack and Special Attack are average.
- An easier method to obtain Spiritomb is to wait until you battle Cynthia in the Elite Four, who has one. You can then trade for it on the GTS.
- Spiritomb is excellent for breeding and trading on the Global Trade Center.
