The Villa is a new part of the Resort Area in Pokémon Platinum, serving as a personal base. You can customize it with furniture purchased from a catalog found on a central table. These items can be quite expensive, requiring multiple visits to the Elite Four and trainer rematches to afford.

Here is a list of items available for purchase, their costs, requirements, and the visitors they attract:

Uxie and Lake Acuity

After defeating the Distortion World on Mt. Coronet and speaking with Professor Rowan, Uxie and the other legendary lake trio Pokémon will begin appearing in the caves at the center of each Sinnoh lake. To reach Lake Acuity, you need a Pokémon with the Surf ability and must travel to the northern part of Route 207. Alternatively, you can fly to Snowpoint City and travel from there.

Before heading to Lake Acuity, ensure you have the following:

• Approximately 25 Dark Balls, Timer Balls, and Quick Balls each.
• A Pokémon with Dark or Ghost-type moves; Dark-types are recommended.
• Around 20 Max Potions, Full Heals, and Revives each.
• A Pokémon that knows False Swipe (obtainable via level-up for Sneasel and Scyther, or taught using a TM from Veilstone Department Store).

Legendary Pokémon: Uxie

Level: 50
Type: Psychic

Uxie is the Defender of the legendary trio, boasting higher Defense than the others. Its moveset primarily consists of support abilities like Amnesia (to boost Special Defense) and Yawn (to induce sleep on the next turn). Future Sight is a delayed attack that can damage your Pokémon several turns later, and Confusion is its Psychic-type offensive move. Dark-type Pokémon are best suited for stalling, as they are immune to Confusion and Future Sight, though they can still be affected by Yawn.

Uxie's Levitate ability makes it immune to Ground-type moves. A Sneasel or Weavile with Blizzard or Ice Beam is effective for potentially freezing Uxie. Thunder Wave can also be useful if you have an Electric-type Pokémon. Equip your Sneasel or Weavile with False Swipe to reduce Uxie's HP to 1 without fainting it. Then, use Ultra Balls, Dark Balls (if it's nighttime), Timer Balls (if the battle exceeds 30 turns), or Quick Balls (at the start of the battle).

Remember that Uxie and the other lake trio Pokémon have a low catch rate of 3, so be prepared for a lengthy battle. One encounter reportedly took around 100 turns.
