||The Battleground ||

The Battleground is a special cafe in the Survival Area that unlocks after completing the Heatran side quest in Pokémon Platinum. It's a place where you can re-battle Gym Leaders and trainers you've encountered in double battles throughout Sinnoh. Buck's Grandfather used to live here.

Each day, the game randomly selects about 4 trainers for you to battle. Their Pokémon range from levels 61-62 up to 66. All of these Pokémon are fully evolved and provide good experience points, making the Battleground a useful spot for leveling up your team. To have a trainer appear in the cafe, you must have encountered them at least once before. Cheryl and Buck are guaranteed to appear initially as you are forced to encounter them.
