Alright, so you've made it to the Records Room in Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City. Your main objective here is to hunt down some blueprints that'll show you where Umbrella's hiding their facilities. Keep your eyes peeled, because this place isn't exactly empty.

Walkthrough

    As soon as you step into the Records Room, you're going to be swarmed by Crimson Heads. Seriously, they come out of nowhere. If you need to stock up on ammo, there's an ammo box conveniently located off to the right. You'll also find a First Aid Spray on a table to your right, so grab that if you're feeling a bit roughed up.

    Your primary goal is to navigate through this maze of shelves in the center of the room and make your way to the back. Don't get too comfortable though, because more enemies are waiting for you there.

    USS soldiers are going to attack you in the back of the room. The bookcases don't offer much in the way of solid cover, so your best bet is to take these guys down as fast as you can. If your team has any grenades left, now's the time to spam them – this is pretty much the last big fight in this area! There are a few more USS soldiers on the other side, but they're not exactly hiding behind anything substantial either. Watch out, one of them is rocking a flamethrower!

    If you're playing as the Assault Class with the Super Soldier perk, you can probably tear through these guys in seconds with a shotgun. If you're not running that setup, it's probably smarter to hang back, use a long-range weapon to pick off a few soldiers from a distance, and then rush in with more firepower once they're weakened. Seriously though, just chuck grenades like crazy here – you're almost done with this section!

    After you've cleared out the soldiers, make sure to check the back area for any items you might have missed. Once you're done with that, head towards the EVIDENCE marker on the table. It's located to the right, with your back to the two open doorways at the rear of the room. Examine the evidence to wrap up this mission.
Tips
  • Keep an eye out for Intel items scattered throughout the room. You can find Intel 26 on a shelf to the left before hitting a dead end. Intel 27 is on a middle shelf on the left side, across from a green herb pickup. Intel 28 is in the shelf corridor behind the laptop at the very back. Intel 29 is in the back room, below a cabinet covered by fire – you can grab it by targeting the left side of the cabinet. Finally, Intel 30 is on the desk with the PC in the same back room.
  • Don't forget to grab the First Aid Spray and any Green Herbs you find to keep your health topped up.
  • Conserve your ammo if you can, but don't be afraid to use grenades in the final push against the USS soldiers.

  • Intel 26 - Move along the right wall and this will be on a shelf off to the left before getting to the dead end.
  • Intel 27 - Step around the shelves on the left side of the room and this is on a middle shelf directly across from the green herb pickup on the left side of the room.
  • Intel 28 - Run to the very back of the records room and this is on a shelf in the shelf corridor behind the laptop. This is in the corridor to the right while facing the laptop screen.
  • Intel 29 - Enter the very back room behind the records room. The room has a bunch of flames in it. There is a PC on a desk next to a filing cabinet. There is a fire below the cabinet to the right of the desk. This intel is below the cabinet but is covered by the fire. Position your targeting reticule so that your character is targeting the area on the left side of that cabinet then pick it up through the flames. The intel can be seen through the flames while standing on the left side of the cabinet and looking down at the floor.
  • Intel 30 - Enter the very back room behind the records room and this is lying on the desk with a PC on the right side of the room. The flames in front
