Alright, you've made it up the stairs. Get ready, 'cause more soldiers are gonna pour in at the top. There are some decent spots to take cover, but keep an eye out for a soldier on the left side who's packing a flamethrower. Your first priority is to take him out and snag that flamethrower for yourself. Seriously, whoever gets it should charge the remaining soldiers and just burn 'em. Don't get too carried away, just flame 'em enough to get the job done and then move on.

You'll run into a few more soldiers up the next set of stairs. If you've got that flamethrower, they're no match for you. Make sure you hold onto it, because you'll need it for the upcoming rooms. Once you're done, open up the shutter at the top of the stairs.

Heads up: One of the soldiers at the top of those stairs might have a grenade launcher. It's pretty useful, almost as good as the flamethrower for clearing rooms. However, the flamethrower is the only one you can reload with ammo, so it's generally the better pick. Also, remember you can't come back to this area once you move into the next room, so make sure you've grabbed everything.
