When controlling Rebecca Chambers, enter the Employee Lounge and find a red lamp. Note its color and the symbol. Repeat this with the green lamp and the orange lamp by the pool table. Note the colors and numbers of the pool balls: Red is 3, Orange is 5, and Green is 6.

Travel to the Gallery and examine the keypad next to the first door on the left. Enter the code (the source mentions 635, but CVXFREAK also got 536 on HARD MODE, indicating it may be random).

Grab three empty bottles. Fill one with water at the sink. Fill a second bottle with UMB No. 3 from the yellow jar and mix them to create NP-004. Collect Yellow-6 and mix it with NP-004 to obtain UMB No. 10. Collect more water and Yellow-6, mix them for UMB No. 7. Combine UMB No. 7 and UMB No. 10 to create VP-017. Finally, collect another batch of UMB No. 3 and mix it to create the V-Jolt chemical.

Take the V-Jolt to the basement and proceed to the control room (you can use the Water Rooms to get there). Climb the ladder and exit the door. Eliminate the beach shark with one handgun shot if you choose, as it will only bother you if you try to engage it. Enter the Guard Room by the shark and walk into the plant's roots; they will not damage you. Apply the herbicide (V-Jolt) to the plant and discard the bottles.

Switch back to Chris Redfield. Use all your available ammo to fight and kill Plant 42. This may require anywhere from 10 to 20 SHOTGUN SHELLS.
