Follow this Resident Evil walkthrough to grab Death Mask I, navigate the Graveyard and Machinery Room, and prepare for the challenging Yawn boss fight. Learn strategies and tips to survive.

Alright, so you've made it past that gate in the graveyard. The path ahead is pretty straightforward, but don't get too comfortable! First things first, grab that DEATH MASK I that's lying around. Once you've got it, unlock the door and head back into the GRAVEYARD.

From the graveyard, you'll want to head down the stairs into the MACHINERY ROOM. Here's where things get a little… grim. Find the 4th tomb and attach DEATH MASK I. Get ready for another disturbing cutscene. After that, it's time to head back to the CROW HALL.

Once you're back in the CROW HALL, make your way to the DOOR HALL, and then head for the RIGHT STAIRS.

On the RIGHT STAIRS, you'll likely run into a CRIMSON HEAD. Take care of it, then continue up to the RIGHT STAIRS SAVE ROOM. Quick check: make sure you've got the GRENADE LAUNCHER equipped or handy. Once you're ready, head back out.

Back on the RIGHT STAIRS, head upstairs into the U HALL. From there, it's a short trip into the RICHARD ROOM, and then into the SMALL L HALL.

In the SMALL L HALL, climb those small stairs and use your SHIELD KEY to unlock the door. Don't forget to dispose of the SHIELD KEY afterward; it's served its purpose.

You're now in the ATTIC, and guess what? A boss is waiting for you.

Boss: Yawn

Stats / Weaknesses:

• HP: Unknown (Runs away)
• Weaknesses: Acid Rounds, Shotgun

Phases:

1. Phase 1: Yawn attacks with its mouth. Keep moving to avoid its bite. Getting hit will poison you. Use Acid Rounds from the Grenade Launcher.
2. Phase 2: Richard will intervene partway through the fight. Continue attacking Yawn.
3. Phase 3: Richard leaves. If you run out of ammo for the Grenade Launcher, grab the SHOTGUN from the floor and keep firing. Yawn will eventually retreat.

Strategy:

• Your primary weapon here should be the GRENADE LAUNCHER with ACID ROUNDS. Barry should have given you some.
• Keep your distance and circle around Yawn. Its main attack is a lunging bite, so staying mobile is key.
• If you get bitten, you'll be poisoned. Use your healing items quickly!
• Don't waste ammo on Yawn if you're running low. If you need to switch weapons, the SHOTGUN on the floor can be a lifesaver.
• Alternate Strategy: If you want to avoid this fight entirely, you can make a run for DEATH MASK II at the back of the room. Grab it and immediately escape the area. This is risky, but it skips the fight.
