Introduction

Albert Wesker aspired to be a leading researcher at Umbrella Inc., a pharmaceutical company covertly developing Bio Organic Weapons (B.O.W.). In Raccoon City, at the primary development ground, he met William Birkin, a brilliant researcher who chose a different path. Wesker later transferred to S.T.A.R.S. (Special Tactics and Rescue Service), a special force unit within the Raccoon Police Department. Umbrella employed many individuals within the police department for crisis management related to their illegal Bio Organic Weapons development.
