Wesker's Report was included with the American Version of Resident Evil CODE: Veronica X pre-orders, the Japanese PS2 or DC version of CODE: Veronica Complete, or the BioHazard 5th Anniversary Briefcase. If you did not obtain it through these methods, the report is still available to read.

The report is filled with information from the original PlayStation version of Resident Evil, Resident Evil 2, and Resident Evil 3. While some information regarding the "Mansion Incident" may seem dated due to the remake, it still provides fundamental storyline details for the Resident Evil series.

This report can also assist players new to the series on GameCube who wish to learn more about Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3: Nemesis before the GameCube ports of those games are released. The following is Wesker's Report in its entirety.

Introduction

Albert Wesker aspired to be a leading researcher at Umbrella Inc., a pharmaceutical company covertly developing Bio Organic Weapons (B.O.W.). In Raccoon City, at the primary development ground, he met William Birkin, a brilliant researcher who chose a different path. Wesker later transferred to S.T.A.R.S. (Special Tactics and Rescue Service), a special force unit within the Raccoon Police Department. Umbrella employed many individuals within the police department for crisis management related to their illegal Bio Organic Weapons development. Wesker became the leader of S.T.A.R.S. and conducted various intelligence activities for Umbrella. While serving, he formulated his own plans and awaited the opportune moment to execute them.
