Enter the Employee Lounge, find a red lamp, and note its color and symbol. Repeat this for the green lamp and the orange lamp by the pool table. Note the colors and numbers of the pool balls: Red is 3, Orange is 5, and Green is 6.

Go to the Gallery and examine the keypad next to the first door on the left. Enter the code (635, but it may be random).

Grab three empty bottles. Fill one with water at the sink. Fill a second bottle with UMB No. 3 from the yellow jar and mix them to get NP-004. Collect Yellow-6 and mix it with NP-004 to get UMB No. 10. Collect more water and Yellow-6 to make UMB No. 7. Combine UMB No. 7 and UMB No. 10 to create VP-017. Finally, get more UMB No. 3 and mix it to create the V-Jolt chemical.

Go to the basement and proceed to the control room (use the Water Rooms to get there). Go up the ladder and through the door. You can eliminate the shark with one handgun shot. Enter the Guard Room next to the shark and walk into the plant's roots (they won't damage you). Give the plant a shot of the herbicide (V-Jolt) and discard the bottles.

Switch back to Chris. Use all your ammo to fight and kill Plant 42. This may take 10-20 shotgun shells. Watch out for its attacks.
