Learn the best strategies to defeat Alessa's final form in Silent Hill 3. Use the Submachine Gun or Katana effectively and avoid her powerful attacks.

Alright, you've made it to the final showdown with Alessa! This is her 4th and final form, and yeah, she's got a Submachine Gun this time. Don't let that freak you out though, because the strategy is pretty much the same as her 2nd form. Your main goal is to find her quickly so she doesn't get the drop on you with a surprise burst of bullets.

You can still use that Katana three-hit combo and push-back tactic, but be aware that Alessa is at her strongest here. She might catch you sometimes if you're not careful and don't adjust your position, so keep an eye on her range. Honestly, though, it's still way better than just standing there and taking SMG fire.

Try to position yourself so that just the very tip of your Katana connects with her. The further away she is while still being in range, the safer you are. If she starts getting too close and you think she might hit you, just stop, back up, and reset the distance. If you're feeling a bit more cautious, you can always switch to the Shotgun. Just blast her when she swings her SMG or is about to fire.

When she decides to run away, you need to follow her immediately. She'll probably try to shoot you if you let her create too much distance. If she does start firing, quickly duck behind one of those carousel horses for cover and let her empty her clip. Once she starts reloading, that's your cue to ambush her. She should eventually fall and disintegrate for good, but if she's still standing, get in those last hits while you can!

4th Form Attacks:

• Bullet Burst: Alessa can unleash a rapid burst of bullets at you, which deals a significant amount of damage. Use the horses on the carousel for cover and try to get behind her. Avoid attacking from long distances, as she'll likely try to shoot you.
• SMG Whack: She can also use her Submachine Gun to whack you at close range.

After the dust settles and Alessa is finally defeated, take a moment to read the note that's on the floor behind you. Then, make your way around the carousel to find the exit along the outer edge. Follow the path that opens up and move through the door to continue on.
