To the Concourse

Follow this guide to navigate the Silent Hill 3 concourse, find the subway map, and learn about the optional 'Subway Curse' event.

Alright, so you're trying to get to the concourse in Silent Hill 3 and don't have a map? No worries, I've got you covered. Just follow the path, take your first right, and head through the door at the end. Keep moving forward and take a left across to the other side of this big open hall. You'll see some ticket machines – go ahead and check out the newspaper there; it mentions a fatal subway accident. Over by the information sign, you can examine it, and Heather will mention that the Bergen Street train on Platform 3 is her ride home.

Keep going around the corner and pass through the turnstiles near the ticket office. Just around the next bend, on a small noticeboard next to a blue door, you'll find the SUBWAY MAP. Grab that, then head down the stairs near the map to the floor below.

OPTIONAL: THE SUBWAY CURSE (PLATFORM 4)

Now, this part is totally optional and a little risky, but it's a pretty cool experience and you can snag a health item. To see this special event, you first need to have read that newspaper article about the subway accident back in the concourse. There's also an occult magazine you can find on the Platform 4 staircase that gives some context, but you don't strictly need to read it to trigger the event.
