Learn how to defeat Numb Bodies in Silent Hill 3, their locations, attacks, and recommended weapons like the Handgun, Katana, Steel Pipe, and Shotgun.

• Underpass
• Hilltop Center

Attacks:

• Lunging headbutt.

• Shotgun (for large sizes)

Strategy:

1. Numb Bodies are aggressive and can be small, medium, or large.
2. Their primary attack is a lunging headbutt; avoid this by attacking from a distance, circling them, or attacking from behind or the side.
3. For small and medium Numb Bodies, a melee weapon like the Katana or Steel Pipe is effective. Sidestep their lunges while attacking to make it harder for them to hit you.
4. Consider using the Handgun to take out groups more quickly and safely, or to lure them out one by one.
5. Always finish off a downed Numb Body with a kick if it is still squirming.
6. Large Numb Bodies encountered in the subway and underpass are more aggressive and powerful, making evasive measures even more crucial.
7. The Steel Pipe can still be effective against large Numb Bodies if properly positioned.
8. If in a hurry or surrounded by several large Numb Bodies, the Shotgun is effective at close range.
9. The Handgun also works well against large Numb Bodies, though it lacks the stopping power of other weapons against their powerful charges.

Appearance:

• Malformed, bipedal body with no arms.
• Pale purple in color with bloody veins all over.
• Features a large single eye on its head.
• Makes sounds similar to goats or lambs.
• Comes in small, medium, and large sizes.
