Double Head

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Appearance: A dog wrapped in bandages with its head split in half, often howls for backup.
• Attacks: Jumps and bites (minimal damage), grabs Heather's leg and chews (significant damage).
• Weakness: Avoid their mouths; attack sides or rear. Mash buttons if grabbed.

Locations:

• Nightmare, Central Square Shopping Center, Nightmare Mall, Hazel Street Subway Station, Hilltop Center, Nightmare Hilltop Center, Silent Hill, Lakeside Amusement Park.

Strategy:

• Double Heads are fast and can be annoying. The Handgun is the most efficient weapon.
• If you want to save ammo, use the Steel Pipe or Katana.
• Try to sidestep them to avoid their mouths and attack their sides or rear.
• If they grab your leg, mash the shoulder and directional buttons to break free.
• A helpful trick is to use beef jerky to distract them, allowing you to run past or sneak up for an attack.
• If they're already distracted by meat, you can usually just run past or get a surprise attack in. Always finish them off with a kick.
• Warning: Double Heads often howl to call for reinforcements. If you hear them howling back, quickly kill the reinforcements or leave the area before you get surrounded.
