Nightmare Hilltop and Hospital Madness

Nightmare Hilltop & Brookhaven Hospital Strategy: These areas are challenging due to aggressive Nurses and Slurpers. Utilize jerky to distract enemies, especially in tight hallways. Turn off your flashlight and radio, and attach the Silencer to your Handgun to reduce detection.

Dealing with Slurpers: Slurpers can play dead; keep firing until they are confirmed dead. For solo Slurpers, shoot them with the Handgun until they twitch, then use the Katana for a downward slice. Avoid touching their bodies. Retreat if multiple Slurpers approach; use the Shotgun for close-range stops to create escape opportunities.

Nightmare Hilltop Specifics: In the final 4F hallway, use jerky in the southwest corner to distract two Double Heads, allowing for easy Shotgun kills. Before entering the vending machine room, place jerky to distract newly spawned Slurpers and Double Heads.

Nightmare Brookhaven Specifics: In the 2F employee wing, use jerky in strategic spots before entering the Women's Locker Room. This will distract the Slurpers that spawn upon your return, making them easier to handle or bypass. Be mindful of the revolver Nurse that spawns with them; consider sprinting past her.

Weapon Strategies: The SMG is effective for quick kills in confined spaces, especially with its x5 bullet adjust. Collect all SMG ammo. Save 200-230 bullets for Leonard. The Shotgun is effective up close against Nurses but is weaker at a distance compared to Silent Hill 2.

Dealing with Nurses: Prioritize killing Nurses with revolvers first, ignoring those with pipes. If a Nurse is raising her revolver and you're not close, use the SMG for a quick kill. When facing multiple Nurses, have the Shotgun or SMG ready, block, blast, and switch targets. Kick downed enemies or finish them off.
