Head to the Jansen Home: Once you arrive, Jan's mother will tell you that Lissa's daughter, Jaella, is unwell. Head upstairs, and Lissa will apologize to Jan for past treatment. She'll reveal that Vaelag beat the child, and Jaella isn't just sick – she's psychically wounded and has only about ten days left to live.

Seek the Hidden: Jan wants to stay with Lissa, so you'll need to go to the basement and talk to Uncle Gerhardt. He'll tell you that Jaella can be healed, but you need to find someone called 'The Hidden', and your search should start at the Jysstev Estate. Go back upstairs and let Jan know what you've discovered.

Investigate the Jysstev Estate: Make your way to the Jysstev Estate in the Government District. Speak with Lady Jysstev and ask her about 'The Hidden'. Even though you're not one of the 'Enlightened Ones', explain that a child's life is on the line. She'll reveal that The Hidden can be found in the sewers beneath the Copper Coronet. You'll earn 8900XP for your trouble.

Find The Hidden in the Sewers: Return to the Slums District and enter the sewers via the entrance in the Copper Coronet. Head to the lower part of the tunnel – you know, the spot where you dealt with that Kobold Shaman for his staff way back when. The Hidden will be waiting there.

Deal with the Githyanki: The Hidden knows you're looking for a cure for Jaella and agrees to help, but only if you take care of two creatures hunting him. He'll direct you to the Sea's Bounty Tavern in the Docks District to meet their contact. Speak to 'The Thumb' behind the bar and give him the code word. He'll send you to a room on the second floor of the Five Flagons inn in the Bridge District. Head there, and in a side room, you'll find two Githyanki. Be warned, they're Fighter/Mages and will attack! They're tough, so be prepared. Loot their bodies for some gold and a Mage Robe of Fire Resistance. If they cast Mordenkainen's Sword, don't bother fighting it – just run!

Report Back and Confrontation: Return to the sewers under the Copper Coronet and report to The Hidden. He'll confirm Jaella has been cured, and you'll gain 17500XP. If you press him about the Githyanki, he'll reveal himself to be a Mind Flayer before leaving. You can choose to fight him here for an additional 9000XP.

Homecoming: Finally, head back to the Jansen Home. Jaella has recovered, but Lissa has some bad news for Jan. Follow them downstairs to witness an argument between Jan and Vaelag. After the confrontation, Lissa, Vaelag, and Jaella will leave, and Jan will rejoin your party. You'll earn another 15500XP and the Homecoming trophy.
