    In the North Forest, head north to engage Yaga-Shura soldiers attacking merchants.

    After the fight, if Neera is in your party, a messenger bird will deliver news about Vicross, initiating Neera's companion quest to attract Red Wizards.

    Continue north to find the surviving merchant, Karthis al-Hezzar, who offers services and scrolls/potions up to +3 enchantment. He also sells an Obsidian Ioun Stone.

    Go south and east across stepping stones, cautiously advancing to kill two emerging Fire Giants.
