Tranquility Lane

You will find yourself in Tranquility Lane, a virtual reality world. Speak with NPCs, most will direct you to Betty.

Find Old Lady Dithers, who realizes it's a simulation and tells you about Betty (Braun) manipulating the world. She directs you to the failsafe in the abandoned house.

Head to the playground and talk to Betty. She will give you tasks. You can choose to obey her or find the failsafe. Attacking Betty will result in death.

To make Timmy Neusbaum cry, find him at his house. You can pass a Speech check to tell him his parents are divorcing, give him the Military School Brochure from the kitchen table, or hit him.

After making Timmy cry, talk to Betty/Braun. He will answer one question. If you ask about your father, he makes a pun. He then asks you to end the Rockwell's marriage.

To ruin the Rockwell's marriage, pass a Speech challenge with Janet. Alternatively, talk to Mabel about Martha Simpson from a year ago, then talk to Martha and pass a Speech challenge to get her to discuss Roger. Find Lacy Underwear upstairs in the Simpson Residence, plant it in Roger's basement desk in the Rockwell Residence, then lead Janet to the basement to see it. Janet will confront Roger and run to the Henderson Residence.

Report back to Betty. He asks you to kill Mabel Henderson. To kill Mabel, go to the Henderson Residence. You can activate the Mr. Handy terminal in the kitchen and select "Disable Security Screening" then "Initiate Security Program" (this makes the Mr. Handy dangerous to you too). Alternatively, sabotage the oven's pilot light fixture, or turn on the radio in her living room and drop the chandelier on her when she approaches. As long as you don't hit her directly, it counts as gold.

Return to Betty. He asks you to become the Pint-Sized Slasher. Activate the doghouse near the Abandoned House to get a knife and hat, then kill everyone in town except Timmy. Mabel may briefly reappear alive.

After killing everyone, talk to Betty one last time. He will activate the exit to Tranquility Lane, appearing as a large door in the playground.

Go into the Abandoned Home. In the living room, interact with specific objects in the correct sequence to open a terminal that allows you to override Braun. This will allow the residents of Vault 112 to die after 200 years of virtual torture.
